December 28, 2025: Mom Dianne admitted in active preterm labor (6 cm dilated, 70% effaced, intact BOW).

But Baby Matt understood the assignment — he stayed cozy inside for 30 more days.
January 28, 2026: delivered full term via NSD.

Irony of life.

After years of primary infertility and a myomectomy, Mom Che finally conceived spontaneously. Kuya Alon was delivered via primary CS due to the previous surgery.

Just months before his 1st birthday, they were pregnant again. We saw early cardiac flickers, but before the repeat scan, she had bleeding and eventually a spontaneous miscarriage.

Heartbreaking, yes — but perhaps also a pause meant for HEALING, FOCUSING on Kuya Alon, and PREPARING well for the next rainbow pregnancy. 🤍

To Mom Che and Dad Gilbert, trust His timing. 🙏🏼

Back story. November 24, 2025

Indeed, only Papa God knows what’s best. 🙏

A primigravida with regular prenatal checkups was scheduled for an ELECTIVE primary CS due to a Persistent Breech presentation. However Mom lives in the province—went into labor while attending an important family event: the burial of her husband’s father. She initially updated me, adviced to go to the hospital but still decided to observe her condition.

After the burial, she traveled to Tacloban. Along the way, her bag of waters ruptured. Upon arrival at the ER, she was already fully dilated and crowning!

By God’s perfect timing, I was already in the hospital doing ultrasounds for admitted patients and was able to rush to the DR immediately. There was no turning back—we had to proceed with a total breech extraction!

Praise God, the baby was adequately sized, Moms pelvis was sufficient, and we were able to deliver the baby safe and sound. 💕

What an adrenaline rush—but truly a reminder that when God takes over, everything falls into place. ✨🙏



PS: Thank you to Dr. Cazandra Mora our resident, Dra. Audrey Santo our pediatrician (who luckily was also at the NICU at that time!), and to the nurses and staffs of DWH LRDR-NICU complex. ‘Till next delivery!! 😅
