"Smile Train is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children born with cleft lips and palates. Founded in 1999, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to smile. Our mission is to provide free, quality corrective cleft surgery to children in need, in over 87 countries worldwide.
At Smile Train, we understand the physical and emotional challenges that come with living with a cleft. That's why we work to provide comprehensive care for our patients, including surgery, speech therapy, and nutritional support. Our team of experts, including local doctors and medical professionals, are dedicated to ensuring that every child we serve receives the best possible care.
Our approach is sustainable, we focus on training local medical professionals, providing hospital funding and building partnerships with local organizations to ensure that children in need have access to cleft care for years to come.
