CD4 Testing is NOW AVAILABLE at St. Louis Hospital.

The CD4 count is a laboratory test that measures how many CD4 cells you have in your blood. These are a type of white blood cell, called T cells, that move throughout your body to find and destroy bacteria, viruses, and other invading germs. It is very useful diagnostic test to check the immune system function in people living with HIV. The normal range is between 500 to 1500 cells/mm^3.

Ang ilan sa mga sintomas ng Mental Health Illness ay:
Biglaan na pagiba sa mood or personality
Biglaan na pagiba sa pang araw-araw na gawain (e.g. pagtulog, pagkain)
Excessive na pakiramdam ng depression, galit, lungkot, takot at iba pang emosyon
Delusions o ang pagkakaroon ng kakaibang pagiisip
Suicidal thoughts
Biglaang pagiging agresibo sa sarili o sa ibang tao

Sa mga kabataan, ang ilang pwede maging sintomas ng Mental Health Illness ay:
Biglaang pag iba sa performance sa eskwelahan
Biglaang pag iba sa pakikitungo sa mga teachers or classmates

Kung ikaw ay nakakapansin or nakakaranas ng mga sintomas na ito sa inyong sarili o sa inyong mga minamahal sa buhay, maaaring magpa check kay Dr. Kenneth Europa ngayong darating na March 21-22, 2024 sa SLH OPD.
