Ayon sa datos ng WHO noong 2020, 3,596 na Pilipino ang namatay sa leukemia o 0.53% ng kabuuang bilang ng mga namatay. Dahil dito, ang leukemia ay isa sa top 5 na pangunahing sanhi ng kamatayan dahil sa kanser sa bansa.

Ngayong World Leukemia Awareness Month at Blood Cancer Awareness Month, ang maagang pagtukoy sa mga sintomas ay susi sa maagang pagkonsulta, pagdiagnose, at pagbigay ng tamang lunas.

Ang bawat segundo ay mahalaga sa laban kontra blood cancer at leukemia.

Ang prostate health ay mahalaga, kaya’t regular na pagsusuri ang susi.

Ang maagang stage ng kanser sa prostate ay kadalasang walang sintomas, kaya’t madalas itong natutukoy sa pamamagitan ng pagsusuri.
