OUR ADVOCACY
Our team thought of reducing waste as a powerful tool to benefit both the school, environment, and society. By minimizing our ecological footprint through practices like recycling, reusing, and mindful consumption, we not only preserve vital resources but also contribute to a healthier, more economically vibrant community. Our group aims to help the environment and society by reducing waste to create a better, more resilient, and harmonious relationship between humanity and the natural world. We conserve resources, reduce pollution, and promote a better lifestyle by recycling, reusing, and reducing single-use goods.
The reason for our advocacy is because most people in our school do not have discipline, or practices for maintaining a clean environment, and our school also doesn’t have enough funds for more staff that can monitor the garbage.
Our activities also include cleaning and monitoring the garbage dump behind the grade 12, building A in our school. Our project is low to no-cost at all so it is relatively easy to enforce right away.
