SOS Mental Health Facility

SOS Mental Health Facility SOS is a Private Residential Treatment Center for individuals who have problems with addiction, mental health, & behavioral/personality oddities.

We offer a cognitive-behavioral therapy approach which teaches patients necessary skills for recovery. Our primary mode of treatment is Integrated Cognitive Behavior Therapy (ICBT) which consists of three learning 3 basic components designed to improve symptoms of PTSD, depression, other mental health issues and substance use:

1. Patient education about substance use and its co-occurring mental

health issues. At SOSTRC, patients get to understand what addiction is, how it affects their mental, emotional, social, and spiritual functioning. They are also educated about Relapse Process and Relapse Prevention. Mental health issues such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, suicidality and others, are discussed and patients get a deeper understanding of the symptoms, prevention and how to help themselves.

2. Mindfulness and Self-regulation, where patients get to learn how to calm themselves, be internally controlled, focus on what is important and be able to respond appropriately to external stimuli without losing control.

3. Cognitive restructuring and reframing where patients not only learn to identify unrealistic and self-defeating beliefs but also learn to challenge, defeat and correct these erroneous thinking patterns. Our Commitment

The Sanctuary of Sobriety Treatment and Rehabilitation Center assures its clients and potential clients that we offer what a good rehab is supposed to offer. We are small private treatment facility but our clinical team is composed of experienced professional: psychiatrists and psychologists who have been in the field of mental health treatment for many years.

"Our study found broad support for the notion that people’s early experiences and skills really matter when they reach adulthood, despite everything that happens in between,”
