Common Colds is different from Influenza.

Influenza vaccine is updated yearly. It is better to have the vaccine the earliest when it becomes available for that year.

if you had the flu vaccine but have flu-like symptoms, your illness might be caused by other viruses (RSV, Adenovirus, parainfluenza, hMPV, etc.)
