✅ GCGMMC August Sight Saving Month Activities
In line with the observance of Sight Saving Month this August, the GCGMMC Department of Ophthalmology has organized a series of activities aimed at promoting awareness, education, and access to eye care for both the hospital staff and the communities we serve.
📍August 16, 2025 (Saturday)– Postgraduate Course on Basic Eye Health Care for General Practitioners
Time: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Venue: Panda Tea Suites Garden
A CPD-accredited session designed to equip general practitioners with essential knowledge on recognizing and managing common eye conditions and knowing when to refer. This will be held at the Panda Tea Suites Garden, Tagbilaran City.
📍August 19, 2025 (Tuesday) – Eye Health Care Lectures for GCGMMC Employees and Staff
Time: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Venue: 5th Floor Cloud Lounge
A series of interactive lectures focusing on basic eye care, prevention of eye strain, and common ocular problems in the workplace. This will be held at the Cloud Lounge, 5th floor, GCGMMC.
📍Various Dates in August – GCGMMC Layman Lectures for Patients at the OPD
Venue: Outpatient Department
Educational talks for patients and caregivers in the outpatient department covering topics such as glaucoma, cataract, dry eye syndrome, and other common eye diseases.
📍August 28, 2025 (Thursday) – Maribojoc Outreach Ophthalmology Medical Mission
