Ang loperamide ay hindi palaging ang gamot para sa diarrhea.

Ang diarrhea ay ang pagbilis at paglambot ng pagdumi at ang hindi pangkaraniwang bagay na iyon ay isa sa mga ng katawan upang linisin ang sarili mula sa pagkakaroon ng infection sa digestive tract sa pamamagitan ng mas mataas na produce ng likido sa colon na nanggagaling naman mula sa iba pang bahagi ng katawan sa upang ang infection na maaaringdulot ng bacteria, virus, toxins, atbp na may kaakibat na pagtaas ng peristalsis o paggalaw ng digestive tract.

loperamide vs diarrhea

loperamide isn't always the cure for diarrhea.

diarrhea is characterized by an increased and loose bowel movement and that phenomenon is one of the body's in order to cleanse itself from the presence of infection in the digestive tract by an increased secretion of liquid in the colon taken from the other body parts in order to the infection maybe due to bacteria, virus, toxins, etc in addition in increased peristalsis or digestive tract movement.

the defense mechanism is to protecting our body from further harm. it's like pouring enough water to cleanse the surface, otherwise flashing more water in the colon and small intestine in order to rinse itself.

Ang gastritis ay isang general term para sa mga kondisyon na may: pamamaga ng lining ng tiyan. Ang pamamaga ng gastritis ay kadalasang resulta ng impeksyon sa parehong bacteria na nagdudulot ng karamihan sa mga ulcer sa tiyan – Helicobacter pylori.

SARS-COV-2 (LABELED) VARIANTS🧬

Katulad ng ating mga "community quarantine", nagkakaroon rin ng mga "variant" ang SARS-CoV-2 (virus na nagdudulot ng sakit na COVID-19). Kahapon nga ay kinumpirma na ng DOH ang unang kaso ng variant sa Pilipinas. Narito ang ilan pa sa mga pinangalanang "variant" ng WHO. Sa kasalukuyan ay may 13 letra pa sa "Greek Alphabet" na hindi nagagamit.

ANO ANG MGA "VARIANT"?

Katulad ng ibang mga "virus", ang "severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2" (SARS-CoV-2) na nagdudulot ng sakit na "coronavirus disease 2019" (COVID-19), ay patuloy na nagkakaroon ng natural na mga pagbabago o "mutation". Sa tuwing magbabago ito ng ilan sa mga parte o katangian nito, dito nagkakaroon ng mga "variant". Ang mga lumilitaw na "variant" ay posibleng magkaroon ng mga abilidad na mas maging nakahahawa, nakakadulot ng mas malalang mga epekto, o maibaba ang proteksyon ng bakuna. Ngunit, hindi naman lahat ng "variant" ay ganito.

• Sa ebolusyon ng SARS-CoV-2 , may mga variant ito na posibleng lumitaw at mawala, ngunit may mga pagkakataong may mga tumatagal at kumakalat pa (tulad ng Delta variant). Habang mas kumakalat ito sa komunidad, mas mataas ang tiyansang mag-evolve pa ito sa iba pang variants, kaya mahalaga talaga na mapigilan ang pagkalat nito sa mas lalong madaling panahon.

ANO ANG "VOI" at "VOC"?

Ang pagsulpot ng mga "variant" ng SARS-CoV-2 na nagdulot ng mas mataas na banta sa kalusugan noong huling bahagi ng 2020 ang nag-udyok sa WHO na magkaroon ng klasipikasyon ng mga variant upang mas magkaroon ng angkop na mga hakabangin ang mga bansa ukol rito.

• Variant of Interest (VOI) - Ang isang SARS-CoV-2 variant ay ituturing na "VOI" kung ito ay mga pagbabago sa katangian nito na tinatayang may epekto sa mga abilidad nito, tulad ng bilis ng na makahawa o paglala ng sakit, at nagdudulot ng "significant" na hawaan sa komunidad sa iba't ibang mga bansa (kadalasan ay nagdudulot ng pagtaas ng bilang ng mga kaso).

• Variant of Concern (VOC) - Ang isang SARS-CoV-2 variant na unang itinuring na "VOI" ay iaangat sa "VOC" kung ito ay nagdudulot na rin ng mas mataas na tiyansa o bilis ng hawaan, mas ipinapakitang pagbabago sa mga simptomas, o nagdudulot ng pagbaba ng "effectivity" ng mga una nang inilunsad na mga aksyon ng mga bansa laban sa COVID-19 o iba pang mga kaugnay na proyekto (tulad ng bakuna).

May iba ring mga variant na hindi pa o hindi na itinuturing na "VOI" at at "VOC", dahil sa kinakailangan pa ng ibang mga pag-aaral. Importanteng tandaan na habang nagkakaroon ng ebolusyon ang virus at nagkakaroon ng mga bagong pag-aaral, maaaring magpalipat-lipat ng mga klasipikasyon ang mga nasabing variant.

BAKIT GALING SA "GREEK ALPHABET" ANG PANGALAN?

• Sa kasalukuyan, 11 na SARS-CoV-2 variants na ang nabigyan ng letrang pangalan - 4 ang VOC, 4 ang VOI, ang 3 naman ay hindi na itinuturing pang mga VOI o VOC. Anim (6) rito ang na-detect ng DOH sa mga kaso ng COVID-19 sa Pilipinas.

⚠️Tayong publiko ay malaki ang maitutulong upang hindi na mas lumala ang problema patungkol sa mga delikadong "variant" - sa pamamagitan ng pagsunod sa mga "health protocols" at pagpapabakuna. Ingat po tayong lahat!
