The Bars® are 32 points on the head that store the electromagnetic component of your thoughts, feelings, emotions, ideas, beliefs, and considerations as they are stored in the brain. When activated, The Bars can help facilitate reduction of stress, pain and trauma throughout the body and increase positive attitudes toward life. Access Bars is a gentle touch hands-on alternative therapy technique introduced by Gary M. An Access Bars Session, or having your Bars run, as it is often called, begins to release the thoughts, feelings, emotions, beliefs and limiting programs that no longer serve you. During a session the 32 Bars points are lightly touched. This process begins to release the electromagnetic charge or polarity of the thoughts, feelings, emotions, ideas, beliefs, considerations and decisions as it is stored in your brain. Typically, you lie on a massage table or sit in a zero gravity chair. There is no need to remove any clothing. Only the head, hands and feet (optional) are touched. It's nice to have a blanket on hand, as sometimes your body temperature may change. Sessions typically last 45 to 90 minutes. Introductory or taster sessions are typically 20 minutes. The Bars can be run anywhere; a noisy environment will not prevent the Bars from running. I have run Bars in hospitals, at the park, outdoors, in offices, at airports, on airplanes and in various other locations.

**“I want to encourage them to keep on drawing, keep on creating.” 🎨💙**

Those words from Hiraya Gallery’s Art Director mean so much to us.

Because encouragement fuels growth.

Support builds confidence.

And every purchase creates opportunity.

To everyone who bought our Echo Bags — thank you.

Your support is not just a transaction.

It’s motivation.

It’s affirmation.

It’s a message to our artists that their work matters.

Because of you, Miguel and Helena can keep painting.

Keep dreaming.

Keep creating.

Art continues when community shows up.

And you did. 💙✨

Maraming salamat po! 🥰

**A celebration of art, collaboration, and inclusion. 🎨💐**

Helena with Darla during their exhibit at Hiraya Gallery in 2022 — a proud moment shared with people who believe in their talent.

Also in this photo:

✨ Hiraya Gallery Art Director Elaine Carlos
✨ The team from Special Achievers — Martin Sy, Karen Navarro & Bill Cosare

This wasn’t just an exhibit.

It was a gathering of advocates, mentors, and partners who continue to open doors for artists with autism.

Behind every gallery wall is a community.

Behind every successful exhibit is a team that says, “We believe in you.”

Moments like this remind us that inclusion is built together — artists, galleries, organizations, and supporters working side by side.

We are grateful for partnerships that champion ability, creativity, and opportunity. 💙

**When the art world speaks about Miguel’s work… we listen. 🎨✨**

In this reel, you’ll hear the Director of Hiraya Art Gallery share her thoughts on Miguel Bedroso’s paintings during his 2022 exhibit.

To us, Miguel is hardworking.

Disciplined.

Dedicated.

But to hear a gallery professional recognize his bold colors, strong compositions, and unique visual voice?

That hits differently.

This wasn’t just a proud moment for Miguel.

It was a powerful reminder that talent deserves to be seen — and respected.

From years of therapy and training…

To gallery walls and curatorial conversations.

Miguel’s journey is proof that with the right support, artists with autism can thrive in professional spaces.

Press play and listen to how the art world sees Miguel. 💙

**A proud moment at Hiraya Gallery. 🎨✨**

Miguel with Hiraya Art Gallery’s Art Director, Elaine Carlos, during his *Bold Strokes* Exhibit in 2022.

This photo captures more than a gallery visit.

It captures recognition.

Validation.

A milestone.

From years of therapy and art training…

To sitting beside a gallery art director showcasing his work.

Miguel’s journey has always been about growth —

Building skills, confidence, and independence.

And in 2022, his bold colors and strong compositions earned their place on gallery walls.

Moments like this remind us:

Talent deserves opportunity.

Inclusion belongs in the arts.

And with the right support, artists with autism thrive.

We’re proud of how far he’s come — and excited for what’s next. 💙

**Artist meets Artist. 🎨💙**

In this reel, Miguel proudly shows Helena one of his paintings —

A cozy café scene filled with color, warmth, and detail.

You can see it in his face.

The quiet pride.

The excitement of sharing his work.

And Helena?

She looks closely.

She listens.

She appreciates.

Two artists.

Two different styles.

One shared language — art.

Moments like this are special.

Because it’s not just about the painting.

It’s about confidence.

Connection.

Community.

When artists with autism are given space to grow, they don’t just create beautiful work —

They inspire each other.

And this is only the beginning. 💙✨

**Bold Strokes. Bold Flavors. Bold Dreams. 🎨🍽️**

In 2022, Miguel took center stage at his **Bold Stroke Exhibit** at Hiraya Gallery —

And he painted what he loves most: food.

Calamares.
Blueberry pie.
Lechon.

Not just dishes — but memories, comfort, and joy served on canvas.

With every bold line and rich color,

Miguel transformed his favorite meals into art that feels alive.

You can almost taste the crunch, the sweetness, the celebration.

From painting simple food subjects in his early years to mounting a full exhibit at a gallery —

This is growth. This is dedication. This is passion.

Miguel doesn’t just paint food.

He paints what makes him happy.

And that happiness? It shows. 💙

**Two artists. One mission. One sold-out dream. 💙**

After the sold-out Echo Bag Campaign 2025,

Miguel and Helena finally met and introduced themselves to each other.

Two creatives.

Two different journeys.

One shared purpose — using art to create independence.

Behind every sold-out campaign are hours of painting, therapy, training, and growth.

But this moment?

This was about connection.

“Hi, I’m Miguel.”

“Hi, I’m Helena.”

Simple introductions.

Powerful impact.

Because when artists with autism are given the right support,

They don’t just create beautiful work — they build confidence, community, and opportunity.

This is what inclusion looks like.

This is what happens when people show up and support.

And this is only the beginning. 💙✨

**Behind every thriving artist is a teacher who believed first. 💙**

Meet Teacher Karen — co-founder of Uniquely Able and the occupational therapist of Miguel and Helena.

For years, she worked quietly behind the scenes:

With Miguel —
✨ sensory processing
✨ work behaviors
✨ social skills

With Helena —
✨ executive functions
✨ social skills
✨ pre-vocational skills training

Session after session.

Year after year.

Small wins that led to big breakthroughs.

Today, through Uniquely Able, Teacher Karen’s mission goes beyond therapy.

Her goal?

To help Miguel and Helena become **financially independent through their art.**

Because therapy is not just about coping.

It’s about building skills.

Building confidence.

Building a future.

This is what long-term support looks like.

This is what inclusion in action looks like. 💙

From Banana, Grape… to Brilliant Masterpieces. 🍌🍇🎨

Here’s a peek at one of Miguel’s old paintings —

Simple, sweet, and straight from the heart.

Back then, he painted what he saw.

Basic shapes.

Bold colors.

No layers.

No complex details.

Now?

His works are deeper.

More detailed.

More confident.

Full of texture, movement, and intention.

The difference is growth.

The difference is years of practice.

The difference is dedication.

This reel shows how far Miguel has come —

From his early fruit paintings to the intricate masterpieces he creates today.

Every artist starts somewhere.

What matters is that they keep going. 💙

Watch his journey.

Celebrate the progress.

Support his art.

**When the theme was dance…
Miguel chose food.** 💃🍡

For the *Leap Exhibit in 2020*, the theme was movement and dance.

But at that time, Miguel only wanted to paint what he loved most—food.

So he did something uniquely Miguel.

He made the **kakanin dance.**

Bibingka.

Kutsinta.

Sapin-sapin.

P**o.

And more—each one with tiny arms and legs, joyfully moving across bright, playful backgrounds.

While others painted dancers, Miguel made desserts dance.

Because art is not just about following a theme—

It’s about expressing what’s in your heart.

This piece is a beautiful reminder that creativity doesn’t have to fit a mold.

Sometimes, it leaps in its own sweet way.

And that’s what makes Miguel’s art so special. 💙

“She was only 3 years old… and she was drawing on our walls.”

Most parents would panic.

Most would say, “Stop!”

Most would get angry.

But Helena’s mom didn’t.

Instead, she paused.

She looked at the little girl holding a crayon.

And she chose to see not a mess—

But a gift.

Those walls became Helena’s first canvas.

That home became her first gallery.

And that moment became the beginning of an artist’s journey.

Sometimes, nurturing talent starts with patience.

Sometimes, believing in your child means letting the wall become a mural.

From wall drawings at 3 years old

Tomexhibits and published works—

It all began with a mother who chose understanding over anger.

This is what support looks like.

This is what belief looks like.

This is how dreams begin. 💙✨

From a simple corndog… to detailed, layered masterpieces. 🌭🎨

In this reel, Miguel shows one of his earliest paintings—

His favorite food, a corndog.

The design is simple, the shapes are basic, and the details are few.

But this piece is an important part of his journey.

When you compare it to Miguel’s newer works today, the difference is clear—

More layers, finer strokes, richer colors, and more complex designs.

This is what years of patience, therapy, and art training look like.

Step by step, brushstroke by brushstroke, Miguel kept going.

From a simple corndog painting to intricate cityscapes and landscapes,

His growth tells a powerful story: progress happens when passion meets persistence.

We’re proud of how far he’s come—and excited for all the art still ahead. 💙
