In celebration of NDPR 2025, MAPÚA University Makati extended its commitment to community service through an engaging immersion held on July 16 at the Taguig Yakap Center. The event featured an informative lecture, distribution of tokens, snacks, and brochures, and was warmly received by the community.

This meaningful activity was facilitated by Mr. Arnel S. Cabardo, PTRP, Officer-in-Charge of the Pediatric Physical Therapy Section, in coordination with Dr. Noel Nathaniel C. Napa, MD, Department Head of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Unit and Ms. Zarah Claire T. Cuenca,PTRP, MAEd, Director of Taguig Yakap Center for Children with Disabilities.

Libreng GAMOT LABAN SA LEPTOSPIROSIS

Ang Leptospirosis ay sakit na galing sa bacteria mula sa ihi ng mga daga, a*o, pusa, kambing at iba pang mga hayop. Pwedeng makuha ito kapag lumulusong sa baha. Ang doxycycline ay isang gamot laban sa Leptospirosis.

Tumawag sa Health Center Hotline o pumunta sa pinakamalapit na barangay health center para mabigyan ng libreng doxycycline.

Tandaan na ang doxycycline ay makukuha lamang nang may reseta ng doktor at ibinibigay lamang sa mga 9 na taong gulang pataas. Mayroong ibang gamot ang nakalaan para sa mga buntis at nagpapasuso.

Kung nakararanas na ng sintomas ng Leptospirosis tulad ng lagnat, sakit ng ulo, pamumula ng mata, pagsusuka, pagtatae, paninilaw ng balat o puting bahagi ng mata, agad na magtungo sa ating ospital.
