PAGASA has placed the National Capital Region, which includes the City of Taguig, under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 due to the potential threats of Severe Tropical Storm Nika; which may affect the city with winds of 39-61 km/h in at least 36 hours or intermittent rains may be expected within 36 hours that could cause flooding and landslides.

The Wind Signal automatically suspends in-person classes from Kindergarten to Grade 12, as well as the Alternative Learning System (ALS) classes, in both public and private schools in Taguig. Schools shall resort to alternative delivery mode of learning in accordance with the policies of the Department of Education.

Ayon sa datos ng WHO noong 2020, ang mga namatay dahil sa Alzheimer's at Dementia sa Pilipinas ay umabot sa 2,010 o 0.30% ng kabuuang bilang ng mga namatay.

Ipinapaalala natin na mahalaga ang kalusugan ng utak sa lahat ng yugto ng ating buhay. Ang pagkakaroon ng malusog na pamumuhay - regular na ehersisyo at wastong pagkain - ay nagbibigay benepisyo sa ating isipan. Umiwas sa paninigarilyo, pag-inom ng alak, at droga. Sa bawat desisyong pangkalusugan, pinapatibay natin ang kinabukasan.

DOH: Kasalukuyang naglalabas ang Bulkang Taal ng mga usok o VOG na nakikita sa Lalawigan ng Batangas at mga kalapit na lugar nito. Samantala, ang SMOG sa Metro Manila ay marahil dulot ng natural na pangyayaring tinatawag na "Temperature Inversion" na nagdadala ng maulap na kalangitan.

Gayunpaman, mahigpit na ipinaaalala ng Kagawaran ng Kalusugan (DOH) na huwag magpawalang bahala at ingatan ang ating Kalusugan.

Sa bawat tao na dumaranas ng krisis, maaring may isang buhay na maililigtas sa tamang pagtugon at pang-unawa.

Su***de is preventable. Kung ikaw o may kilala kang dumadaan sa matinding pagsubok, alalahanin na may tulong at suportang handang magbigay-gabay.

In Australia, the natural sugars found in milk and fruits account for about half of the sugar the average person eats each day. Fruit contains natural sugars, which are a mix of sucrose, fructose and glucose. Milk contains lactose which is a combination of glucose and galactose joined together. These sugars, because of the foods they are naturally found in, are perfectly fine to eat and anyone who tells you that you need to cut these foods out because....toxic sugar...is someone you want to be as far away from as possible.

The other half of the sugar we eat each day is made up of sugars that have been refined and added to foods for a variety of purposes. These are the ones that carry the biggest health concerns.

But the hard part about trying to eat less added sugar is knowing just where it is found in foods. We tend to think that added sugar is mainly found in soft drinks, desserts and confectionery. But you’ll find it in many savoury foods, breakfast cereals and even β€˜healthy’ foods such as energy bars.

To know where all this hidden sugar is lurking, you need to be a bit of a food detective because added sugar can go under dozens of different names. Here are just a few of them.
