Our training follows the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) standards, recognized worldwide for excellence in emergency response, and Global Training standards from CoTECC/ CoTCCC.

Volunteers will undergo:
- Swift Water Search & Rescue
- Basic First Aid, CPR, AED & Bleeding Control (ASHI)
- Emergency Medical Responder Course (ASHI - EMR)
- Urban Search & Rescue Training (Level 1)
- Wilderness First Responder Course (ASHI)
- Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (CoTECC)

You also get the opportunity to qualify and become part of the SOAR Search and Rescue Reserve Battalion, Philippine Army Affiliate Reserve Unit, being organized.

Your True Commitment:
With SOAR, training is free. Your real payment is your time, your dedication, and your willingness to stand ready when disaster strikes. Every hour you give, every skill you master, and every mission you join is a gift of hope and survival to those in need.

"When the SOAR Away Team left Benito Ebuen Airport, Cebu City today, there was no media, no parade, popularity posts, no commercial airlines or airport interviews. Just a back pack and crates to carry out, and a C130 ride home to catch.

But what you didn't know, was that your lives had been changed forever because you had been part of something great.

And greatness, no matter how brief, stays with you. Every First responder dreams of responding in a major incident, you guys lived it."

3rd day on site, supporting San Remegio, RHU. Patients continue to come day and night, and your SOAR Team worked on shift all night to assist the injured. We are glad to work side by side with the Coastguard Medical Services team on site, here at San Remegio. A pleasure to work with CG Med once again. Let us offer a Prayer for this 3rd day.

Heavenly Father,

We lift up to You today the brave men and women of SOAR Deployable Response Group who serve as emergency medical responders in Bogo City, Cebu. In this moment of need, we ask for Your divine protection to cover them as they work tirelessly to save lives, bring comfort, amidst uncertainty.

Grant them strength when they are weary, wisdom in every decision, and calmness in the midst of chaos. Surround them with Your angels of protection, that no harm may come upon them as they put the safety of others before their own.

Bless their hands to be instruments of healing, their voices to bring reassurance, and their hearts to remain steadfast with compassion. We pray also for their families—give them peace of mind and the assurance that their loved ones are guided and shielded by Your presence.

Lord, may Your light shine upon the earthquake victims. Bring hope to those affected, healing to the injured, and comfort to the grieving. May this community rise stronger, united in faith and in care for one another.

We entrust our responders, their mission, and their lives into Your loving hands.

'Ut Ceteri Vivant' (Latin)

For some, these are just words, but for us, these 4 words embody our aspirations, a realization of a life worth living; a purpose for all the pain and struggles we go though, training ourselves and preparing for a time that may not come; a committment to those we come across in the field when they needed us most 'ab articulo mortis' and finally, a Prayer that all men and women in peril survive, and all those who come our way, experience our love and care for them, a love that asks for nothing in return.

SOAR Prayer

Psalm 23 - A psalm of David.

1 The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.

2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters,

3 He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right path for his name’s sake.

4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

6 Surely Your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever

Father God, Bless and watch over us, SOAR Away Team, as we perform humanitarian work. With no regard for our safety, we go and abide by Thy will, for we know that we are in Your loving arms O God.

Look after our loved ones Lord, watch over them, keep them safe. In Your loving arms we entrust them.

Thank you for your Blessing of life and strength O God, that we may use these gifts to help others in need...so others may Live!

🤝✨ A new milestone for us at SOAR Philippines Training Institute, Inc.!

On September 4, 2025, we officially forged a Memorandum of Partnership (MOP) with the Training Command, Philippine Army (TRACOM) at Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac.

This partnership represents our shared commitment to capability development, interoperability, and a whole-of-nation approach in disaster preparedness and emergency response. Together, we aim to strengthen the bridge between the military and civilian sectors in serving the Filipino people during times of crisis. 🇵🇭

We are honored to stand alongside TRACOM in this mission. 🚑🪖

ATTN ALCON:
We are opening a special invitation for a few individuals (10 max) who wish to participate in this upcoming program.

We are opening this to help defray the cost of medical training supplies and other needed resources of our men in uniform.
You will be training with the TRACOM, PA Emergency Response Team, and several other uniformed units at Camp O'Donnell, Capas, Tarlac, for three days and two nights. This will be a live-in training exercise.

For those joining, billeting will be available for a very minimal fee, while meals can be taken outside the Camp where carinderias abound.

Interested individuals, please PM me and register by scanning the QR code below. Affordable fees are stated in the Google registration form once you register.

Reminder, you will get dirty, so bring extra clothes. There will be medical procedures, so be ready to see blood (simulated). There will be scenarios, so be prepared.

After you register, Training instructions will follow.
