BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - Full time

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and drive growth in our technical services.
Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving our company's growth by identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic partnerships. This role requires a strong technical background in biomedical engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and execute business strategies in a fast-paced, startup environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with various departments to ensure business development initiatives align with company goals and are executed successfully.
Your objective will be to achieve sustainable financial growth by increasing sales and building robust client relationships.
Responsibilities
-Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
-Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
-Manages organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls
-Meets sales monthly quota
-Flexible both on technical skill requirements and upselling services/products to customers
-Arrange business meetings and visit with prospective clients
-Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
-Coordinates with the sales team and have pragmatic innovative plans to induce more potential clients for business opportunities
-Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
-Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
-Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
-Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
-Proven experience (5+ years) in business development, sales, field service engineering, or a related role within the biomedical or healthcare industry.
-Strong technical background with hands-on experience in biomedical engineering or a related field.
-Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-Proficiency in business development and project management tools and software.
-Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Other relevant program management certification is a plus.
-Familiarity with lean startup principles and agile methodologies is highly desirable.
