Last Thursday, July 31, the Section of Medical and Oncology Nutrition Service hosted a special workshop to celebrate Nutrition Month 2025. The event, titled "Updates on Enteral Nutrition: An Enteral Nutrition Workshop," was co-presented and sponsored by Fresenius Kabi.

The workshop, held at the Multi-purpose Room of Healthway Cancer Care Hospital from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, was attended by nurses from various Healthway branches, including HCCH, Daniel Mercado Medical Center, San Jose Del Monte Bulacan, and Sta. Rosa.

The program began with a warm welcome from Dr. Jose Sollano, Medical Director, followed by opening remarks from Dr. Mari Joanne Joson, Head of the Quality of Life Department. The attendees then benefited from an insightful lecture on enteral nutrition presented by Dr. Rizelle Jimenez. Following the lecture, a practical and interactive workshop led by Fresenius Kabi provided participants with hands-on learning.

The event concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Reynaldo Sinamban, Section Head of the Medical and Oncology Nutrition Service.

The workshop provided a valuable opportunity for nurses to enhance their knowledge and skills in enteral nutrition, contributing to improved patient care across the Healthway network.

HCCH is here to guide you—on your plate and beyond.
