SLMC-GC Hosts Successful Emergency Radiology Course for Radiologic Technologists!

Last June 28, 2025, the Institute of Radiology, St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City, successfully conducted the Postgraduate Course: Emergency Radiology for Radiologic Technologists – Indications, Techniques, and Common Imaging Findings.
This hybrid event, with over 2000 attendees composed of radiologic technologists and radiologists nationwide, brought together an exceptional panel of speakers:

• Leah Theresa Q. Torres-Cortez, MD – St. Louis University Hospital, Baguio City

• Kies E. Momani, MD – St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City, Taguig City

• Al Patrick C. Alajas, MD – Southern Philippines Medical Center, Davao City

• Maude S. Tabigue, MD – Chong Hua Hospital, Cebu City

• Andrei I. Hocson, MD – West Metro Medical Center, Zamboanga City

The course covered essential imaging protocols and findings in emergency cases, enhancing the knowledge and skills of participants in the fast-paced ER setting. Delivered via Zoom and on-site at SLMC-GC, the program provided 3 CPD units each for physicians and radiologic technologists.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our speakers, participants, and organizing committee for making this event a success. Here’s to continuously uplifting the practice of radiology and advancing patient care through education and collaboration!
