I'm definitely into getting the most bang for my money ₱ so tripling my Thieves laundry detergent is my jam ✨.

Here's what I do:

🔸1) Separate my Thieves detergent into thirds by pouring 1/3 into 2 mason jars (the original container acts as 1 of my 3)

🔸2) Add in 2 capfuls of Thieves Household Cleaner for an extra boost because I'm extra like that (and it works amazingly!)

🔸3) Add in a tablespoon of baking soda to each.

🔸4) Add 15 drops of Purification essential oil to each again because I'm extra like that.

🔸5) Fill the rest of the jar with distilled water, mix together, recap and you're all set!

I add one capful for a large load, which all of my loads are 😂🙌

Can your Young Living essential oils EXPIRE?

Someone had asked about the lifespan of an essential oil bottle, and here is my answer:

Some oils, like Frankincense, have no expiry date. There is NO expiry date for any essential oil that is steam distilled and has NO carrier oil added.

Other blends, to name a few, that do NOT have added carrier oil are Thieves, Sacred Mountain and Purification.

Please note that Citrus oils are NOT steam distilled. They are cold pressed from the rind of the fruit. They can actually EVAPORATE through the plastic top of the unopened bottle in 2-3 years. Blends that contain citrus oils may decrease in volume because of this.

Vegetable oils, added as carrier oils, can become rancid. Blends that contain carrier oil would be the ones affected over time. However, many Young Living blends now have FRACTIONATED COCONUT OIL rather than nut oils (because of potential allergies) as carriers. Fractionated coconut oil is coconut oil that is then steam distilled. It would have no expiry.

It would also greatly depend on how the oils are stored in the first place.

The oil effectively soothed the skin and reversed allergic dermatitis (a type of eczema). This suggests that frankincense EO is a promising solution for dermatitis.
