- As of 14 March 2020, there are a total of 98 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Philippines. Most of these cases are in the National Capital Region (NCR).
- 8 deaths have been confirmed in the country, 5 of which are from the NCR.
- There are no new confirmed cases in Taguig City. The number of confirmed cases in the City remains at 1. However, our teams, together with the Department of Health, are active in doing contact tracing in all barangays of the City.
- The police, barangay-level structures and other local law enforcement teams are actively ensuring that the measures of the community quarantine are observed by all citizens, and that mobility is limited only to traveling to work and buying essential goods and supplies. We ask all TaguigeΓ±os to cooperate.
- To keep prices reasonable, even as demand soars for basic necessities, the Department of Trade and Industry has declared a price freeze for 60 days following the declaration of the state of public emergency. Taguig shall prosecute all establishments who will violate the order.
- Stakeholders have assured the City that we have enough supply of basic goods and disinfectants. We ask everyone to stop panic-buying and hoarding. Limit yourself to buying goods to last a few days.
- In a session this morning, the Metro Manila Council unanimously passed a Resolution to impose a curfew from 8PM to 5AM, starting 15 March to 14 April to curb the spread of the virus. Those who have work and essential travel will be allowed.
- The Metro Manila Council also passed a Resolution ordering the closure of malls and other establishments of the same kind in Metro Manila. We assure all TaguigeΓ±os that in our City, all drugstores and pharmacies, supermarkets and groceries, stores that sell food and essential goods and supplies, as well as restaurants that have the capacity to provide delivery services, banking services and medical institutions and services shall REMAIN OPEN but will observe strict social distancing rules.

- Nito lamang ika-13 ng Marso 2020, mayroon ng 98 na kumpirmadong kaso ng COVID-19 sa Pilipinas. Karamihan sa mga kasong ito ay nasa National Capital Region (NCR).
- Nasa 8 na ang naitalang kumpirmadong namatay sa COVID-19 sa bansa, 5 rito ang mula sa NCR.
- Walang bagong kumpirmadong kaso sa Lungsod ng Taguig. Ang bilang ng kumpirmadong kaso sa Taguig ay nananatiling 1. Sa kabila nito, ang ating mga team, kasama ang Department of Health, ay aktibo sa pagsasagawa ng contact tracing sa mga lahat ng barangay ng syudad.
- Patuloy na sinisiguro ng ating kapulisan, mga istrakturang pambarangay at mga tagapagpatupad ng batas na ang mga hakbang sa pagpapatupad ng community quarantine ay sinusunod ng ating mga kababayan, at na ang paggalaw ay limitado lamang sa pagpunta sa trabaho at pagbili ng mga pangunahing pangangailangan. Hinihikayat ang lahat ng TaguigeΓ±o na makiisa sa pamahalaan.
- Upang mapanatili sa makatwirang presyo ang mga bilihin sa kabila ng pagtaas ng demand para sa mga pangunahing necessity, nagdeklara ng price freeze na tatagal ng 60 araw ang Kagawaran ng Kalakalan at Industriya alinsunod sa deklarasyon ng state of public emergency. Ang Taguig ay hindi magdadalawang-isip na magsampa ng kaso sa mga negosyo o establisimyento na lalabag sa price freeze at mahuhuling nananamantala.
- Siniguro ng mga stakeholder sa pamahalaan ng Taguig na sapat ang suplay ng mga pangunahing paninda at disinfectant. Hinihiling namin sa ating mga kababayan na huwag mag-panic-buying at mag-hoard. Limitahan lamang ang bibilhin sa mga kakailanganin sa loob ng ilang araw.
- Sa isang sesyon ngayong umaga, ang Metro Manila Council ay nagkaisa na ipasa ang isang resolusyon na magpapatupad ng curfew mula 8PM hanggang 5AM, simula March 15 hanggang April 14, upang mapigil ang pagkalat ng coronavirus. Ang mga may trabaho at importanteng biyahe ay hindi saklaw ng kautusan.
- Ipinasa rin ng Metro Manila Council ang isang resolusyon na may direktibang isara ang mga mall at mga kaparehong establishimiyento sa Metro Manila. Tinitiyak sa lahat ng Taguigeno na sa loob ng siyudad, ang mga botika at parmasya, supermarket at grocery store, mga tindahan ng makakain at mga mahalagang kalakal at suplay, pati na ang mga restaurant na may kapasidad na magdeliver, mga serbisyo sa pagbabangko at institusyong medical ay mananatiling bukas bagamat istriktong ipapatupad ang mga alituntunin sa social distancing.
