With the all out support of the City Government of Taguig through the Taguig Social Hygiene Clinic and Drop-in Center, an STI, HIV, and AIDS Awareness Seminar was conducted for the Sangguniang Kabataan officials of the city.

The activity served as a platform to educate and engage young leaders on the importance of sexual health education, prevention of sexually transmitted infections, and the value of regular testing.

The initiative reflects the city’s dedication to empowering the youth as partners in advancing health awareness, promoting responsible behavior, and fostering a stigma-free environment for all Taguigeños.

📍Learning Group Session : Taguig Integrated School

A learning group session was successfully conducted at Taguig Integrated School focusing on increasing awareness and understanding of HIV, AIDS, and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The activity aimed to educate and empower Grades 8 and 10 students by providing essential knowledge on the modes of transmission, prevention strategies, early detection, and the importance of EDUCATION and responsible behaviors.

Through interactive discussions and engaging learning activities, students were encouraged to break the stigma surrounding HIV and STIs and to promote a culture of openness, compassion, and informed decision-making among the youth. This initiative forms part of the continuing efforts of the Taguig Social Hygiene Clinic and Drop-In Center to strengthen information and education campaigns on sexual health and to support the city’s goal of achieving a healthier and more informed community.
