The patient from Guam presented with advanced periodontitis, severe bone loss, multiple failing teeth, a history of smoking and betel nut chewing, and significant dental anxiety.

Necessary extractions were performed under conscious sedation, allowing treatment to be done safely and comfortably.

Following disease control, the patient was rehabilitated with:

• Upper ThermoSens denture
• Lower IVOCAP denture

The focus was not on perfection—but on comfort, function, and restoring confidence, using ethical and realistic treatment planning.
