tawag sa kondisyong may tubig sa baga ay Pleural Effusion o Pulmonary Edema. Ito ay nangyayari kapag may naipong likido sa loob mismo ng baga o sa pagitan ng baga at dibdib, kaya nahihirapang huminga ang tao.



πŸ’§ Paano ito nagkakaroon?

May dalawang pangunahing dahilan kung bakit tumatagas o naiipon ang tubig:

1. Dahil sa Problema sa Puso (Pinakakaraniwan)

- Kapag hindi maayos ang pag-pump ng puso, tumataas ang pressure sa mga ugat papunta sa baga.
- Dahil sa taas ng pressure, napipilitang lumabas ang tubig mula sa mga ugat papunta sa tissue ng baga o sa paligid nito.
- Madalas itong nangyayari sa may High Blood Pressure, Heart Failure, o problema sa balbula ng puso.

2. Dahil sa Impeksyon o Pamamaga

- Kapag may Pulmonya, Tuberculosis (TB), o malalang impeksyon, namamaga ang mga ugat kaya tumatagas ang likido.
- Pwede ring dahil sa Cancer o problema sa Bato at Atay na nagiging dahilan para hindi ma-balance ang tubig at protina sa katawan.



πŸ›‘οΈ Paano ito maiiwasan?

Dahil madalas ay konektado ito sa puso at baga, ito ang mga dapat gawin:

βœ… Alagaan ang Puso at Presyon

- Kontrolin ang High Blood Pressure: Uminom ng gamot kung nireseta at kumain ng mababa sa asin. Ang asin ay nagpapanatili ng tubig sa katawan.
- Gamot sa Puso: Kung may sakit sa puso, huwag kalimutang uminom ng maintenance medicines tulad ng diuretics o pampaihi para mailabas ang sobrang tubig.

βœ… Iwasan ang Impeksyon

- Huwag manigarilyo: Ito ang numero unong kalaban ng baga.
- Magpa-bakuna: Magpabakuna laban sa Pneumonia at Flu, lalo na kung matanda na o may ibang sakit.
- Gamutin agad ang ubo o sipon: Huwag hayaang lumala at umabot sa baga.

βœ… Tamang Pamumuhay

- Kumain ng masustansya: Maraming gulay, prutas, at iwasan ang matataba at maaalat.
- Mag-ehersisyo: Para lumakas ang puso at baga.
- Regular Check-up: Lalo na kung may history ng sakit sa pamilya o nararamdaman nang hirap huminga.



⚠️ Paalala: Kung nararamdaman mo ang hirap huminga, ubo na may bula, o paninikip ng dibdib, pumunta agad sa doktor o ospital. Delikado ito kapag napabayaan.

Yes, the brain has an amazing ability to heal and rewire itself after a stroke! 🧠✨

This process is called Neuroplasticity β€” meaning the brain can create new connections between nerve cells and even move functions from the damaged area to healthy parts.



How does it work?

1. Natural Healing- Right after a stroke, the brain swells (edema). As this swelling goes down over days or weeks, some functions may start to return on their own.
- The body also works to restore blood flow and repair small blood vessels.
2. Rewiring the Brain- Even if part of the brain is damaged, healthy areas nearby can "learn" to take over the lost tasks.
- Think of it like a road that’s closed β€” traffic finds a new route to get to the same place.
3. Rehabilitation is Key- The brain heals faster with practice and repetition. Doing exercises, speech therapy, or physical therapy repeatedly sends signals to the brain, making new connections stronger.
- The more you use the affected part of the body, the faster the brain adapts.



When does recovery happen?

- Fastest progress: Usually happens in the first 3 to 6 months after the stroke.
- Long-term recovery: Improvement can still continue even after years, though it may be slower.
- It depends on how severe the stroke was and which part of the brain was affected. Mild strokes often allow full recovery, while severe ones may need more time and adaptation.



Important factors for healing:

βœ… Start therapy early – as soon as the doctor says it's safe.
βœ… Be consistent – practice every day, even small movements count.
βœ… Healthy lifestyle – eat well, exercise, avoid smoking and alcohol to help blood flow to the brain.
βœ… Positive mindset – recovery takes time, but small steps lead to big changes.
