Septyembre 2, 2025, ang City of Talisay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CT-DRRMO), mipadagan sa mga Barangay CFRs alang sa dugang pwersa sa maong alarma, kini nahisubay sa pamalaudnon sa 'Philippine Disaster Act' nga mao ang paghatag tabang sa kasilinganang dapit kung gikinahanglan, usa ang LIFE sa mga mirespondi kauban ang 12 ka barangay, miresponde sa usa ka HAZMAT incident nga nahitabo sa usa ka resort sa Barangay Pooc.

LIFE VOLUNTEERS UNDERGO ANNUAL REFRESHER TRAINING ON BASIC LIFE SUPPORT

Members of the Lawa-an III Immediate First Responder of Emergencies (LIFE) has successfully completed its three-day annual skills refresher training last Aug. 15-17, 2025.

The annual training, which aims to provide additional skills and further enhance the capabilities of our barangay's community first responders (CFRs), was facilitated by the City of Talisay DRRMO through its Training Team head Mrs. Janice Sisa and under the leadership of DRRMO head Mr. Alvin Santillana.

During the training, LIFE volunteers were given a refresher training on Basic First Aid and Basic Life Support. Lessons were retaught and practical assessments were part of the refresher.

We would like to give our endless gratitude towards Kap Frederick Marababol and SK Chairman Jayve Daryle Butas for the endless support towards our community first responders. To the CT-DRRMO Training Team, especially to Mr. Joshua Mahinay and Ms. Genevie Superales for the tireless effort to share their time and knowledge to us CFR’s.

ATM | LIFE Undergoes Refresher Training by CT-DRRMO in Oslob, Cebu

Today marks Day 1 of the three-day Lawaan III Immediate First Responder of Emergencies (LIFE) Skills Refresher Training, led by the CT-DRRMO Training Team.

The session began with an overview of the training topics, followed by a pre-test to assess participants’ baseline knowledge.
