The Municipality of Talisayan convened a meeting with school heads to discuss the guidelines and schedule for the School-Based Immunization (SBI) program, led by Dr. Gay Ardanas, Municipal Health Officer, and Liezl Sorilla, National Immunization Program Coordinator. Yesterday, August 26, 2025, Grade 7 students of Mandahilag National High School joined the Healthy Young Ones Activity, the Talisayan TeenPossible, a symposium facilitated by the RHU team. The activity focused on raising awareness and promoting healthy choices through discussions on puberty, reproductive health and menstruation, responsible parenthood, STI and HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, the ill effects of smoking, mental health, and road safety. An enriching day of knowledge, awareness, and empowerment for the youth of Talisayan! 🌱👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

A successful blood donation drive was held today in Brgy. Punta Santiago, led by the Barangay Council under the leadership of Punong Barangay Hon. Pastor Babarin Jr., together with our dedicated Barangay Health Workers.
This meaningful initiative was made possible through the partnership with Philippine Red Cross Gingoog Chapter, and with the valuable support of the Punta Santiago Elementary School teachers, headed by Ma’am Ruth Pabular.
