Our patient has been living with psoriasis for almost 6 years. She was previously maintained on a combination of methotrexate, phototherapy, and topical medications, with minimal to no improvement. Traveling in and out of Davao just to be seen by a dermatologist also became physically and emotionally exhausting.

Last January, we started her on biologic therapy (injectable). Just 1 month after the initial treatment, we noted significant clearance of her lesions, along with a marked improvement in her quality of life. She happily shared that her skin has never been this clear since her diagnosis prior to the pandemic.

Just yesterday, I saw a patient who had been using GOREE BEAUTY CREAM for several months. Instead of the promised “whitening,” she developed paradoxical DARKENING of the face — one of the harmful effects of mercury-laden creams.

The FDA has already issued advisories against GOREE products after finding extremely HIGH MERCURY content (up to 41,500 ppm, far beyond the safe limit of 1 ppm).

⚠️ MERCURY in skin creams can cause skin damage, kidney problems, and even nervous system toxicity.

If you or someone you know is using GOREE or similar whitening creams, please stop immediately and dispose of them properly. Your health and skin deserve safe care. 💙
