The City Health Office of Tangub sincerely expresses its deepest gratitude to all individuals and organizations who contributed to the successful implementation of the FREE Mobile Chest X-ray Examination held today October 09, 2025.

This vital program, conducted in partnership with the Department of Health (DOH) , Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) and Alay Buhay Foundation , embodies our steadfast commitment to the national goal of a TB-Free Philippines.

Through this proactive and accessible screening initiative, we strive to increase tuberculosis detection rates and enhance our Case Notification Rate—critical components in our collective effort to control, prevent, and ultimately eliminate tuberculosis within our community.

We are especially thankful to our Local Government Unit (LGU) for their unwavering support and warm hospitality extended to our guests and partners during the activity in Tangub City.

2. Kauban sa panimalay sa tambal sakit sa baga o TB og katung nahuman na og tambal
3. Mga Senior Citizen
4. Adunay grabe nga ubo nga magpadayon 2-3 ka semana or mas dugay pa
5. Naay mga simtomas nga: Pag ubo og plema nga adunay dugo, pag singot magabie og hilanat, walay gana sa kaon, kalit nga pag ubos sa timbang og pag luya sa pamati.

The City Health Office of Tangub, led by Dr. Nika Abellana and Nurse Mangapis, the Non-Communicable Disease Coordinator, successfully conducted the launching of the Hypertension and Diabetes Club on September 19 at Function Hall 1. We sincerely thank Dr. Ace Lawton,Dr. Liz Ordeniza and Dr.Apao-City Health Officer for generously sharing their valuable knowledge during the event. We are also deeply grateful for the undying support of the Nurses, HRH, Midwives, and all the dedicated staff of the City Health Office.
Most especially, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to all diabetes and hypertension clients for making the extra time to be present on that day, making the event truly meaningful.

Buntis Care: Alerto sa lawas, andam sa pag panganak og saktong pagplano sa pamilya

We have successfully celebrated our Buntis Care with the theme "ALERTO SA LAWAS, ANDAM SA PAG PANGANAK OG SAKTONG PAGPLANO SA PAMILYA ".
We are grateful to Mayor BEN Canama , Councilor Marissa Villafuerte Amamio and DOH for the support of this event. We also thank one of our sponsor, Megasoft Ozamis for the maternity sets and prizes provided. Thank you also to the philhealth personnels for accommodating our request of on-site registration and updating of MDRs of our participants. Thank you as well to our dear doctors Dr. Acapulco, Dr. Abellana, Dr. Famacion, and Dr. Ordeniza, for the invaluable insights & informations shared to the mommies during their pregnancy and what to expect afterwards. Thank you to Dr. Apao, all the HRH personnel, and all the staff of CHO Tangub especially to Maam Yorisa for all the support extended to this event. Strengthening Cervical Cancer Prevention in Tangub City 🎗️

The Department of Health proudly turns over thermal ablation units to Tangub City — a critical step in enhancing the city's capacity to prevent and treat CERVICAL CANCER.

Cervical Cancer is the second most common cancers among women. It is deadly but can be prevented. With the use of these thermal ablation units, we can ensure that more women have access to timely, effective care at the local level.

Together, we move closer to a cervical cancer-free Philippines.
