Spirulina – The 100% Natural Super Food

To work towards raising the awareness of people about the nutritional and health benefits of Spirulina to help them stay physically, mentally, emotionally healthy and avoid getting diseases.

Spirulina is a blue-green algae in the shape of a perfect spiral coil and has been proven to be rich in food nutrients. Its appearance is a mud-like algae which has a cheese-like flavor and was mainly used by the Aztecs in Mexico for preparation of bread in the 16th century. Since then, there has been an increasing production and research on Spirulina.

Spirulina (Arthrospira plantensis) is a blue-green micro-algae which grows in warm water with a high pH, turning sunlight into life energy. Spirulina gets its various nutrients from both the sun and water that it grows in, including B vitamins, beta carotene, antioxidants, vitamin E, minerals, chlorophyll, phycocyanobilin and is commonly used as a source of protein.

This is a food that NASA considers a complete food which is why it’s considered a food choice for space flight. Spirulina has since been cultured and grown in several countries like the United States, China, Myanmar, Thailand, India, Cuba, Taiwan, and Chile.
