Filled with fun, love, and excitement, the tapul RHU launched its Youth Camp 2023 at the TMH Tiger hall last February 26-27.

26 adolescents attended the 2 day event wherein the participants, hosts, and mentors, were able to discover a deeper understanding of how much life is made more beautiful because of their existence ❤️

The event tackled adolescent health and wellness thru various forms of activities, including: interactive learning, role playing, open forum, games, film viewing, and a Filipino staple, Karaoke 🎶

The event is made possible by ADEPP Program, MOH BARMM

First Aid and Distribution of Hygiene Kits by the Tapul RHU and Post Disaster Surveillance by the Barangay Kalang Officials.

About 22 houses were damaged, partially and totally, with zero casualties.

High tide with strong winds and big waves was felt by the residents of Tapul, Sulu last night(December 24,2022), with sea water reaching up to waist level in some parts of Barangay Kalang.

Together with the Medical Team(TMH and RHU Kalang), BPATs, Barangay Counsilors, community volunteers, we have successfully evacuated 20 families residing in the coastal areas.

Our biggest gratitude to the Chief of Hospital, Dra Arcely Anni Daud, for sheltering the evacuees at the TMH Tiger Hall. To Barangay Captain Hdji Daud for proving snacks and hot drinks. To the Municipal Health Officer, Dr Arrwyn Indanan Daud for heading the rescue team. To the community volunteers who donated clothing. Malagu Pagsukulan sin Raayat
