Rabies Awareness Month

This March, we observe Rabies Awareness Month, promoting prevention and education about rabies — a deadly but 100% preventable disease.

🦠 Rabies spreads through bites or scratches from infected animals.
⚠️ Once symptoms appear, it is almost always fatal.
✅ Immediate and proper medical care after exposure can save lives.

🛡️ Protect Yourself:
• Wash animal bite wounds immediately with soap and running water
• Apply antiseptic if available
• Seek medical attention right away
• Vaccinate pets regularly
• Avoid stray and wild animals

Let’s work together to keep our TSU community safe and informed.
