Continuing PCOM Tarlac Chapter ‘s commitment with the TARLAC STATE UNIVERSITY student body and workforce , our president Dr Conrado Genilo recently held a lecture entitled “BEAT THE VAPE” facilitated by the medical section of TSU under its medical director , Dr Rommel Hernandez . The objective of which is to educate the population on the hazards of va**ng.

Our newly elected President Dr. Gary Genilo and Philippine College of Occupational Medicine Tarlac in collaboration with TSUs medical director Dr Rommel Hernandez organized this informative lecture on asthma in the workplace. This initiative demonstrates PCOM’s commitment to prioritizing the health and well-being of Tarlac State University's student body and workforce .

A Dental and Medical Mission was held last March 15, 2025 at San Miguel, Tarlac City, Tarlac, with the initiative and generosity of Buklod ng Pagkakaisa and Ayala Cresendo Medical Team including PCOM Tarlac member and Ayala Cresendo OH Physician, Dr. Roanne Rae Macaraeg. In partnership with Kiwanis International, Yakult (Shirota Marketing Corporation), Department of Education (Tarlac Chapter), Philippines Dental Association (Tarlac Chapter), Makati Development Corporation (Construction Medical Health and Safety), a total of 260 beneficiaries were given free consultations, free medicines, free tooth extraction and flouride protection. As part of the DOH vaccination drive to boost immunity against influenza virus, PCOM Tarlac member and Ayala Cresendo company physican, Dr. Macaraeg Roanne Rae together with the medical team of Ayala Cresendo (Dr. Victor Tiotuyco, Nurse Valerie Padiz-Hidalgo) has teamed up with Provincial Health Office for a FREE FLU VACCINE on site for their Cresendo community, project staff, construction workers and their families held last January 27, 2025. A total of 237 recipients were vaccinated. Mabuhay ang PCOM Tarlac!

PCOM Tarlac ‘s commitment to help the in the evaluation of Bureau of Jail Management personnel ‘ s mental health.

After a very intensive lecture on mental health , the personnel answered a questionnaire which was later evaluated by Dra Anna Melody Monzon and Loving Mother Gen Hospital family medicine residents. This was then explained to them and self care were also suggested.

Truly a very important activity in this generation.

In line with Mental Health Awareness month, Ayala Cresendo in Tarlac started with a mental health training called, “Psychological First Aid in the Workplace” conducted by PFA instructor, Mr. Josiah Joshua Jacala of the Philippine National Red Cross Pampanga Chapter.

This timely activity has been made possible through the efforts and initiative of Ayala Cresendo medical team (Nurse Valerie Padiz Hidalgo, Dr. Victor Tiotuyco, Dr. Monica Arandio, PCOM Tarlac member and Ayala Cresendo OH physician, Dr. Roanne Rae Macaraeg).

25 participants from the Ayala subsidiary were certified by the Philippine National Red Cross to conduct Tier 1 psychological first aid in the workplace.
