The Provincial Government of Tarlac (PGT) launched its Service Delivery Network Program known as the “Silip Sakit Program (SSP)” to ensure that each Tarlaqueño is given appropriate access to primary, secondary, and tertiary health care that they need and when they need it.
The SSP Consultants comprise the group of medical specialists who will enhance the healthcare system in the province of Tarlac as it aims to render quality professional medical services not only to the affluent but also to the marginalized sector. This will highlight further that quality health care is a right of every patient regardless of stature, race, gender, political affinity, age and religion.
Under the Program, the SSP Consultants shall make their services available to BHW-generated patients requiring tertiary care at the Tarlac Provincial Hospital (TPH). Internists, Pediatricians, Obstetricians-Gynecologists, Surgeons and Family Physicians shall conduct regular clinic hours at the SSP Outpatient clinics. They will attend to patients needing consultation to the extent of improving accurate diagnosis and expediting medical service accordingly. Likewise, Anesthesiologists will be stationed at the Operating Room (OR) for elective cases. They will not charge consultation fees.
