Hi everyone! I just want to let you know that baby Krishna is finally out of the hospital since last night. I would like to thank everyone who helped us financially and prayed continuously during one of the hardest days of our lives. We are also thankful for all the EAMC staff, especially the doctors and nurses who took care of baby Krishna during her stay at the hospital.

We are very grateful for all of you!

Please keep her in your prayers as she recovers from her surgeries.

Again, from the bottom of our hearts thank you very much! ❤️

And most of all, I want to give God all glory, honor, praise and thanks for all His wonderful deeds! His love and mercy never fails! ❤️

The shunt surgery went well, thanks be to God!
She's been transferred from the pediatric ICU to a pediatric ward this morning. We are so thankful and grateful for all your prayers and donations! Please keep baby Krishna in your prayers as she recovers from her surgeries. May God bless you and watch over your families!

Almighty God, Krishna Angela is in your care today as she goes into surgery. Thank you that you hold all things together and breathe life itself into our beings. So we choose to rest in you. Lord, please protect her heart, mind and body under the anaesthetic. Guide the decisions, skills and hands of the surgeons and nursing team that will work today to bring healing. UPDATE:
She’s been transferred from Pediatric ICU to a pediatric ward just last night. Her head has gotten bigger since they closed her back, for there’s no more way for the fluid to drain. They also took a sample from her brain to test for bacteria. We’re praying for her results to come back negative, so they can proceed to the next surgery which is the shunt procedure.

Hang in there baby Krishna, we love you and we are all praying for you! 🙏❤️

Please help us raise funds to cover for Krishna Angela Engson's medical expenses. She was born on December 9, 2022 with Myelomeningocele, a severe form of Spina Bifida. She also suffers from hydrocephalus and has clubfoot.

She is currently admitted in East Avenue Medical Center, Quezon City, Philippines and has been there since December 16, 2022.

She will be needing two major surgeries, the first one will be a shunt procedure. A shunt is a hollow tube surgically placed in the brain (or occasionally in the spine) to help drain cerebrospinal fluid and redirect it to another location in the body where it can be reabsorbed.

The second will be to place the neural tissues back in the spinal canal and then close the muscle and the skin.

Please help this family through some of the hardest days of their lives and please keep Krishna Angela in your every prayer.

UPDATE:

I just want to give an update on baby Krishna Angela. She just had her first surgery last Saturday, January 14, and it went well. They did her back first and the operation lasted for a few hours. She is still in the Pediatric ICU so they can monitor her closely.
