When a sarcoma is located in a bone, surgery is often necessary to remove the cancerous tissue and prevent the spread of the disease.

One innovative approach in sarcoma bone surgery is the use of autograft recycling as a treatment option. By recycling the patient's own bone tissue as an autograft, the risk of rejection is minimized, and the body is more likely to accept the transplanted bone. This can lead to better healing and integration of the graft, ultimately improving the long-term success of the surgery.

This innovative approach to treatment of Bone Sarcomas is now being performed in Iloilo in various Tertiary Medical Centers.
