A Life-Changing Moment for a charity patient.

There are few feelings more profound than the joy of helping someone see the world again. Yesterday, I had the privilege of performing eye surgery for a patient who had only light perception in her good eye, while the other was completely lost. The surgery was part of a charitable initiative, organized by the Western Visayas Society of Ophthalmologists, who are dedicated to giving the gift of sight to those in need.
Today, when that patient’s vision was restored, I saw not just her eyes light up, but the happiness that spread through her entire family. It’s a humbling reminder of the role we can play to transform lives. Through this surgery, I wasn’t just able to bring sight to one individual; I helped make an entire family’s dreams come true.
Praise be to God who made me an instrument for her restoring the sight .

It’s moments like this that fill me with an indescribable sense of purpose and joy and fulfilment and great encouragement that there is a powerful God who is in control of all things. To God be the glory.
