Held at The Bayleaf Hotel, Cavite, the recent training on Enhanced Treatment Program for Outpatient Services for Drug Users (ENTREPOSE) brought together professionals from Tagaytay TRC, Malinao TRC, Zamboanga TRC, and DATRC CALABARZON to strengthen our shared commitment to improving treatment outcomes for persons with substance use disorders.

The said training aimed to equip our treatment and rehabilitation teams with the knowledge and tools necessary to implement ENTREPOSE effectively in their respective Centers. It plays a vital role in expanding service coverage, reducing treatment gaps, and supporting the reintegration of clients into their communities.

We are grateful to our esteemed speakers, Ms. Alpha R. Martin, Psychology III and Ms. Abigail Marcial-Oliveros, Psychology II of MEGA DATRC for generously sharing their expertise and insights. Their guidance was instrumental in deepening our understanding of Outpatient Treatment dynamics and best practices.

As we continue to adapt and improve our rehabilitation efforts, training like this reaffirms our mission: to provide compassionate, responsive, and effective care for every individual on the path to recovery.

Held last July 11, 2025, this year’s celebration was a vibrant and meaningful event spearheaded by our Nutrition and Dietetics Section, led by Mr. Francis Vince Cruz, our Nutritionist-Dietitian II.

With the theme “Food at Nutrition Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!”, this year’s campaign reminds us that access to safe, nutritious, and sufficient food is not a privilege, but a basic human right. The theme also highlights the need to prioritize food and nutrition security in all levels: from individuals and families to communities and institutions.

Our celebration was filled with fun and learning as the participants danced their way to wellness through the Healthy Pilipinas Dance. Sir Francis shared practical and empowering nutrition education, raising awareness on healthy eating habits and food choices. The highlight of this celebration was our talented cooks who were given the spotlight to show off their creativity by preparing nutritious snacks for everyone.

Celebrating Nutrition Month is more than just an annual event. It is a reminder of the crucial role that proper nutrition plays in healing, recovery, and daily well-being, especially for our future clients and staff at DATRC CALABARZON.

On July 4, 2025, the DOH Regional Office IV-A CALABARZON, through its Human Resource Development (HRD) Department, proudly hosted the Doctors to the Barrios (DTTB) Exit Conference and Mid-Year Kumustahan Session.

Our DATRC CALABARZON team facilitated a Stress Debriefing Session to support the mental and emotional well-being of our dedicated doctors.

This safe space allowed the DTTB to open up about their experiences, challenges, and victories in serving remote communities. It also strengthened bonds, promoted healing, and helped them move forward with renewed energy.

We salute Doctors to the Barrios for your unwavering commitment to bring healthcare where it’s needed most. Your service saves lives and your well-being matters just as much.

Infection Prevention and Control Week Celebration 2025

We proudly joined the global observance of Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Week last July 9, 2025, a vital reminder of how everyday actions, like proper hand hygiene, safe waste disposal, and correct use of PPE can save lives and protect communities. IPC plays a crucial role in reducing the risk of infections in healthcare settings, especially for vulnerable individuals.

We were honored to have a meaningful and empowering discussion led by our esteemed resource persons: Ms. Elma R. Morales from Trece Martires City Health Office, Ms. Monalyn M. Ilog, and Mr. Mar Clyde D. Villaviray, Disease Surveillance Officers from DOH Cavite Office.

Their knowledge and passion shed light on the why and how of effective infection prevention, inspiring all of us to be vigilant health advocates.

To further highlight the importance of IPC, the DATRC CALABARZON staff showcased their creativity and advocacy through a mini-photojournalism contest, capturing powerful moments and messages that reflect the true essence of infection control.

Let’s continue to champion IPC—not just this week, but every day. A safer, healthier tomorrow begins with you.

Pride Month Celebration 2025

This year, we proudly embrace the theme: “Love Loud, Love Safe.”

It’s more than a slogan, it’s a call to action. To love loud means celebrating our authentic selves without fear or shame, standing in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community, and making every voice heard. To love safe means ensuring our spaces, relationships, and communities are rooted in respect, protection, acceptance, and mental well-being for all.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Maria Christina Capacete, Nurse II of Tagaytay Treatment and Rehabilitation Center, for her eye-opening and deeply relevant discussion on SOGIESC (S*xual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression, and S*x Characteristics). Her talk reminded us why understanding SOGIESC is essential to breaking stigma, fostering inclusivity, and delivering truly compassionate care in our rehabilitation centers.

Thank you also to Ms. Divina Gracia Cablay, Psychologist III of Bicutan TRC, for her insightful session on the Importance of Mental Health among LGBTQIA+ individuals. She highlighted how mental health challenges are often magnified by discrimination and rejection, and why it’s crucial for us to create safe, supportive spaces that champion healing and self-worth.

We also appreciate the presence and participation of the LGBTQIA+ youth of Brgy. Osorio, Trece Martires City. Thank you for joining us!

At DATRC CALABARZON, we believe Pride is more than a celebration, it’s a commitment. A commitment to educate, to advocate, and to stand with the LGBTQIA+ community every single day.

Let us keep building a world where everyone can love loudly and safely.

🌈 Happy Pride Month, everyone! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️✨
