Isaiah 60:22 says, “When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”
After three heartbreaking losses, Filipina personality Alex Gonzaga recently shared that she is pregnant.
And for many people who know what she and Mikee Morada went through, this news feels deeply emotional.
Before this blessing, they went through the pain of losing three pregnancies.
Mikee once shared words that stayed with many people:
“Kahit anong mangyari… biyayaan man tayo o hindi… tayong dalawa, magkasama, okay lang. Dapat ang prayer natin ay we surrender. Kung ano man, meron man o wala, we will accept.”
And now, seeing this new chapter in their lives is a beautiful reminder that some prayers are answered after seasons of pain, waiting, and surrender.
Their story reminds us that true love is not only seen when life is easy.
It is also seen in the hard seasons, when things do not go as planned, when prayers feel delayed, and when two people choose to hold on to each other while trusting God.
To anyone trying to conceive, grieving a loss, or still waiting for their own answered prayer, may this story remind you that your pain is valid and your story is not over.
Sometimes, what once made you cry can become the very thing that turns into your testimony.
“Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.” Psalm 126:5
May this be a reminder to keep praying, keep hoping, and keep surrendering.
Because when the time is right, God will make it happen.
Prayer:
Lord, help me trust You in the waiting. Help me surrender what I cannot control, and remind me that Your timing is always good. Amen.
