John 20:24-31

Jesus Appears to Thomas

24 Now Thomas (also known as Didymus[a]), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!”

But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”

29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

The Purpose of John’s Gospel

30 Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. 31 BUT THESE ARE WRITTEN THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE THAT JESUS IS THE MESSIAH, THE SON OF GOD, AND THAT BY BELIEVING YOU MAY HAVE ETERNAL LIFE HIS NAME.

Gusto lang nako i-share ning case sa patient namo nga admitted. 1 month old baby with sepsis due to abdominal wall cellulitis nga nag kalat sa iyang ge****ls and legs. Very fast progression in a matter of few days nag toxic na dayon ang bata.

We did blood culture and sensi - turns out multi-drug resistant na strain sa kagaw.

Pangutana: Giunsa man ni pagkahitabo nga baby pa man kaayo ni?

Tubag: Mao ni importansiya sa antibiotics stewardship nga kami mga doktor ga naning ug tambag sa mga katawahan. Dili man gud puwede ang mag inom ug antibiotics nga walay prescription gikan sa doktor. And dili sad dapat ang antibiotics himuong powder ug ipahid sa mga samad. Kung imo man gud dula-dulaan ang antibiotics sama sa dulsi (candy) natural mag evolve gyud ang kagaw and musukol sa antibiotics and mao kana na resistant na siya sa mga tambal. Case in point - kini nga bataa basin nakakuha ug impeksyon sa ilang balay or sa silingan and natakdan. Diay to ang kagaw isog na kaayo sama sa kaisog ni Hulk. 😞 😞 😓

Psalm 46:1-2 proclaims, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea." When disaster looms, we must lean on God and draw strength from His enduring love and unwavering presence.
