You asked and we heard you! Paano nga ba mag-quit sa pagyo-yosi?

We know that quitting smoking can be a difficult journey, and it’s no easy feat. Kaya importanteng makakuha ng suporta mula sa iba’t ibang sources at isa-isang subukan ang different strategies to help you curb your cravings. ✍️

We recommend creating a “toolkit” full of options and strategies na maaring makatulong sa’yo when those cravings hit.

🍬 Chew on something: Distract your mouth with something other than a cigarette. Para sa ilan, candies or mints are a great option to snack on ‘pag nag-crave ng yosi.

🚶 Galaw-galaw!: Exercise can help combat the effects of withdrawal, at maari ring makabawas ng cravings sa yosi. Even a 5-minute activity can help distract your mind and body. Try jumping jacks, running up the stairs, mag-squats or maglakad-lakad.

🍃 Try replacements: Ni****ne replacement therapy can be a great option para sa adults na nahihirapan sa kanilang quitting journey. Consider ni****ne gum, patches, or other smoke-free alternatives to help ease the process and lower your withdrawal symptoms.

🧘 Mag-relax: Relaxing is easier said than done, but still an important aspect of your quitting journey. Ang relaxation techniques tulad ng aromatherapy, yoga, music, and meditation can be incorporated into your day para matulungan kang magde-stress at iwasan ang paghahanap sa sigarilyo.

👪 Remember your reasons: Bakit gusto mong tumigil sa paninigarilyo? Whether it’s to feel better, be a positive role model, or focus on your health, be sure to remind yourself every day of your ‘why’. Place sticky notes around your home, sa office, o kahit sa kotse para lagi mong matatandaan ang goal mo.

Start with 1 or 2 of these tips, and then slowly add in more strategies to your toolkit to achieve your quitting goals! 🛠
