The PAO–North Eastern Luzon Chapter gathered once again for their annual general assembly at Maximilian Hotel in Cauayan, Isabela last February 28, 2026. It marked an evening of camaraderie, collaboration, and shared commitment to excellence in ophthalmology 👁️✨
A special highlight of the evening was the awarding of the PAO NEL Sablay in recognition of our past and present leaders. The Baybayin embroidery proudly bears the words “Mata at Bayan” 🇵🇭. It is a powerful reminder of our calling as ophthalmologists to serve both vision and nation.
The night was made even more meaningful with the Induction of Officers, presided over by no less than our PAO National President, Dr. Marie Joan Loy, alongside the Oath Taking of our new members. It truly was a celebration of leadership, growth, and unity within our chapter.
