Perhaps one of the best birthday gifts for our Clubfoot patient who is celebrating his 5th birthday today (January 31, 2025) is to be declared as Clubfoot Graduate. Just like other clubfoot success stories, his story started with the eagerness to seek a better quality of life which eventually he’s experiencing right now. Indeed a fruition of deep commitment and dedication from our patient’s parents and our healthcare providers.

World Clubfoot Day | June 28, 2024

Ending the month of June with a blast!

On this day, CVMC Clubfoot Clinic celebrates World Clubfoot Day at the CVMC Multipurpose Hall.

This special day is dedicated to raising awareness about clubfoot, a common congenital condition, and to celebrate the progress made in its course of treatment and the lives changed by these advancements.

The event features inspiring stories from parents and families afflicted by clubfoot, informative sessions from medical experts, and an opportunity to connect with a supportive community.

We would like to thank our Chairman, Dr. Anthony Abogado, our Clubfoot Consultant-in-charge, Dr. Angel Cayetano, Jr., our Training Officer, Dr. Marco Paolo Lasam and other consultants and residents for gracing this momentous event. Your support and participation made a huge impact on the success of this occasion.

Also, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the top management Dr. Cherry Lou Antonio, our OIC Medical Center Chief II, Dr. Alizza Love Velasco, our OIC Chief Medical Professional Staff II, and Ma’am Jocelyn Sorita, our Chief Nursing Officer for the unwavering support.

SUCCESS!

This is a word to describe what transpired earlier today at CVMC Clubfoot Clinic as we celebrated the World Clubfoot Day 2023.

In collaboration with the CVMC Public Health Unit(PHU), Dr. Roberto Guztavo Reyes, Orthopedic Resident (Resident- in-charge for Clubfoot) conducted a series of lectures on Clubfoot awareness and the Ponseti Method of treating Clubfoot at the Triage Area. It was followed by the giving of certificates of participation and tokens to clubfoot patients.

This activity is trully an important part of achieving our goal which is to lessen or totally eliminate this kind of disability in Region 2 and other nearby provinces.

Magandang balita!

Tuloy ang ating pagbibigay serbisyo para sa mga pasyenteng may Clubfoot. Ito ay matapos mapagdesisyonan ng CVMC Management na bawiin ang nauna nitong anunsyo sa pansamantalang pagpapatigil ng operasyon ng Outpatient Department na kinabibilangan ng CVMC Clubfoot Clinic.

Bukas ang CVMC Clubfoot Clinic kada araw ng Miyerkules at Biyernes (maliban kung pumatak ang mga araw na nabanggit sa Non-working Holiday) .

Mahalagang anunsyo!

Dahil sa patuloy na pagtaas ng kaso ng COVID-19, pansamantala munang ititigil ang operasyon ng CVMC Clubfoot Clinic mula Mayo 22, 2023.

Para sa mga katanungang may kaugnayan sa Clubfoot,maaari po kayong mag message sa ating messenger.

Nais po naming ipaalam na pansamantala po namin isasara ang aming Outpatient Department o ang FACE to FACE na konsultasiyon simula May 22, 2023 dahil sa banta ng pagtaas ng kaso ng Covid-19 virus. Ngunit patuloy pa rin ang pagbibigay namin ng serbisyo sa pamamagitan ng TELEMEDICINE SERVICES. Maari lamang po ninyong kontakin ang mga sumusunod na numero sa baba.

Friday | June 10, 2022.

Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CVMC)- Clubfoot Clinic Celebrates World Clubfoot Day.

It all started with the good works of Dr. Ignacio V. Ponseti, whose gentle touch led to the introduction of Ponseti Method--- the gold standard of Clubfoot treatment.

Here at CVMC Clubfoot Clinic, his significant contribution is being celebrated every year particularly in the month of June. Earlier this morning, Dr. Primrose Paringit (Physician-in-charge of CVMC Clubfoot Clinic) in collaboration with the Public Health Unit of CVMC, series of health education and awareness campaign were conducted.

Other activities such as health counselling, gift giving, and regular check up among clubfoot patients were also taken.

The entire program was definitely left some sort of encouragement to the whole clubfoot team and our patients' watchers as it showed how strong compliance to treatment regimen could improve their patients' quality of life. It inspired the team to do more and improve more its way of treating clubfoot.
