Bad breath that doesn’t improve despite good oral hygiene may be coming from deeper areas, not just the teeth.

Conditions involving the tonsils, sinuses, or throat can contribute to persistent odor that brushing alone cannot resolve. Identifying the underlying cause is key to proper treatment.

If this has been an ongoing concern, an ENT evaluation can help clarify what’s really happening.

Not every “sipon” is an infection.

During dry months, airborne triggers increase, and for many people, that means recurring nasal and sinus irritation. If symptoms keep coming back or affect your sleep, work, or daily routine, it’s time to look deeper.

An ENT evaluation helps identify the root cause and prevents complications.

🟢 Is Your Nose Addicted to Nasal Spray?

If your nasal congestion keeps coming back the moment your spray wears off, it may not be a simple cold. Overusing decongestant nasal sprays for several days can lead to rebound congestion — a condition where the nasal lining swells even more without the medication.

What starts as quick relief can turn into daily dependence.

If you notice persistent blockage, difficulty breathing through your nose, or the need to use the spray more frequently just to feel normal, it’s time for a proper ENT evaluation. Long-term self-medication may worsen the cycle.

Why Does My Child Keep Getting Ear Infections?

Repeated ear pain, fluid in the ears, or hearing difficulty may not always start in the ear.

Sometimes, the problem begins behind the nose, where tissue called adenoids can block normal ear drainage and pressure.

Common signs parents notice:

• Frequent ear infections
• Ear pain or pressure
• Muffled hearing
• Snoring or mouth breathing
• Blocked nose even without colds

What parents should know:

When adenoids become enlarged, they can prevent the ears from draining properly, making infections more likely.

When to see an ENT:

If ear infections keep coming back or hearing seems affected, an ENT check-up can help find the cause and guide proper treatment.

🚨 Did You Know? Foreign Objects in the Ear or Nose Should NOT Be Removed at Home

It’s more common than you think, small objects like beads, cotton tips, insects (including cockroaches), seeds, or tissue can accidentally enter the ear or nose, especially in children and during sleep.

Trying to remove these objects on your own can be dangerous. Pushing tools, cotton buds, or fingers inside may:

⚠️Push the object deeper

⚠️Cause bleeding or infection

⚠️Damage the eardrum or nasal lining

⚠️Make removal more difficult and painful

In cases involving live insects, improper removal can also increase discomfort and injury.

✔️ ENT specialists use proper instruments, lighting, and safe techniques to remove foreign bodies without causing harm.

If you suspect something is stuck in the ear or nose, avoid home remedies and seek professional care promptly.

A sore throat doesn’t always mean an infection.

When throat discomfort keeps coming back without fever, it may be linked to irritation rather than illness. Identifying what’s triggering the problem is key to long-term relief and better throat health.

If symptoms persist, an ENT evaluation can help rule out hidden causes and guide proper care.
