RE: Medical Certificate and Pre-employment Medcert
“Fit to work medcert lang po kailangan.”
I get this type of demand frequently. For educational purposes, a FTW medical certificate is only issued after a patient is deemed fit to work. Therefore, a consultation is a must. Hindi pwedeng walang consultation. And depending on the nature of the job, additional laboratory tests on top of the routine tests may be required by your Doctor. This is to ensure that you are FIT to work and that you do not impose a health risk (ex. TB, viral infection-flu, chickenpox, measles etc) to your colleagues.
“Work from home naman po. Wala naman po ako nararamdaman.”
Again, it is a Doctor’s mandate to conduct thorough evaluation to ensure that you do not have any underlying illness, and that you would not suffer complications from your undiagnosed illness.
For example, a patient unknowingly had anemia, UTI, hypertension, sakit sa puso, TB etc… Pero since Fit to work lang ang kailangan, no consultation and laboratory tests were done, went to work, after few days, nagkaron ng lagnat, nahilo, nahimatay…You would incur more damages. What if mahawa ang workmates?
“Fit to work sa callcenter” pero p**i at bingi pala ang patient. Would a fit to work medcert make the patient hear and talk?
Kung walang consultation, anong ilalagay ng doctor na diagnosis and recommendation? Blank. Kasi nga hindi lang certificate ang kailangan. Kailangan po ng consultation para mabigayan ng fit to work clearance.
Nagegets po ba ang gist?
