We strongly condemn any therapy center or organization that engages in the unethical practice of misrepresenting services—particularly the use of another therapist’s name, credentials, or professional license without their knowledge or consent. Such actions are a serious violation of ethical standards, a breach of trust, and a direct threat to the safety and well-being of children and families seeking legitimate therapeutic care.

We acknowledge that the number of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Registered/Certified Behavior Therapists in the city is limited, and we do our best to serve as many families as possible. However, this shortage is never a justification to deceive parents or present unqualified individuals as licensed professionals.

We call on all providers to uphold honesty, transparency, and ethical practice at all times. Families deserve ethical, competent, and properly credentialed professionals—nothing less.
