✨ MBK KAMUSTAHAN | BUENA MANO EPISODE ✨

Our hearts are full with the just-concluded MBK Kamustahan FB Live, our buena mano episode for the year, featuring our dear Ka “Breashy” Kag. Nancy Evangelista 💗

What made this episode even more special is that we shared the platform not just as fellow MBK sisters, but as classmates and breast cancer warriors who walked almost the same path—our surgeries were only two days apart. What are the odds?

During the conversation, we looked back from our experiences—the fears, the strength we never knew we had, and the unexpected gift of friendship and connection that carried us through one of the hardest seasons of our lives. In the middle of the pandemic, when the world felt uncertain and heavy, that connection meant a lot!

We were battling two big C’s—Cancer and COVID—but we were reminded then, and even more now, that we have a bigger C: Christ Jesus. ✝️
It was His grace, His presence, and His promises that sustained us and brought us through.

This episode is truly a testament that God weaves purpose even in pain, and that no journey is meant to be walked alone.

Maligayang pasko po sa ating lahat!

MBK members had the privilege of taking part in a focus group discussion facilitated by the dedicated medical students of CSU College of Medicine.

Through their study, “Lived Experiences of Women Who Underwent Mastectomy: Basis for Psychosocial Support Intervention,” our MBK sisters were given a safe space to share their stories—stories of pain and courage, loss and healing, vulnerability and strength.

This meaningful engagement deeply aligns with the mission and vision of MBK: to impart our stories to inspire, equip, and empower—not only fellow cancer warriors, but also the future healers who will care for them.

We are truly honored to be of service and to contribute our lived experiences in the hope that they will help shape more compassionate, holistic psychosocial support for women walking the same journey.

Thank you to the future doctors who chose to listen with open minds and hearts. When stories are shared with purpose and received with empathy, they become instruments of healing, hope, and empowerment. 🌸

How time flies—and how full our hearts are 🤍 We’ve just concluded our MBK Year-End Kamustahan with Dra. Luz Babaran and Dr. Ester Temmerman, and we are overflowing with gratitude! Thank you so,so much!

Each episode this year was a gift—of wisdom, healing, hope, and shared strength. As we look back to our episodes of 2025 and look ahead for more meaningful programs this 2026, we carry with us the blessings, lessons, and love that shaped every meaningful conversation.

Thank You, Lord, for the grace that sustained us, the stories that inspired us, and the community that continues to remind us that we are never alone.

Thanks so much po sa lahat ng tumulong sa MBK Garage Sale for a Cause!

Our hearts are so full and we are so grateful! Salamat po sa lahat ng mga nagdonate sa aming group. Sa pamamagitan nito ay natulungan po ninyo kami sa aming mga programa at adhikain. Some would thank us kasi naka declutter sila but more than that, we are the ones who are thankful because thru this program, hindi lang po tayo naka declutter, nakatulong pa po tayo sa mga adhikain para sa mga cancer warriors and survivors.

Dahil jan at dahil marami pa po ang nagdonate sa aming group, thank you so much for your golden hearts, EXTENDED po bukas ang Garage Sale (half day only) All items P50 po. So, let's go! Come and join us infront of Nancy's Square tomorrow, December 12 across SPUP.
