Abhyฤsa is effort โ not the straining kind,
but the steady choosing,
the quiet, persistent return.
๐๐ข๐ต๐ณ๐ข ๐ด๐ต๐ฉ๐ช๐ต๐ข๐ถ ๐บ๐ข๐ต๐ฏ๐ข๐ฉ ๐ข๐ฃ๐ฉ๐บ๐ข๐ด๐ข๐ฉ.
Practice is the gentle work
of steadying the mind โ
the soft, continuous effort to come home to the breath,
until the noise loosens
and the deeper Self can rise,
even when the world feels loud,
even when the heart is tired.
Those moments in class when your mind goes quiet โ
that soft bloom of ๐ฏ๐ฐ-๐ฎ๐ช๐ฏ๐ฅ,
breath deepening,
heart unclenching,
silence rising within โ
that is the fruit of honest effort.
That is yoga doing its work:
a moment when the Self is no longer obscured
by the mindโs noise.
As we arrive mid-month, ask gently:
โข Ano ang ginapaninguha sang lawas mo karon?
โข Unsay gipangita sa imong hunahuna nga ipahulay?
โข What wants to settle, even a little, today?
The path is built in small steps.
This is the practice โ
presence over perfection.
(Re)turning,
remembering.
Again and again.
