September 05, 2025 – The Provincial Government of South Cotabato, in its commitment to bringing government services closer to the people, successfully conducted a Community Outreach Program with the theme: “Tama kag Maayo nga Serbisyo para sa Katawhan.”

This initiative is part of the Province’s alleviation agenda, which prioritizes indigenous peoples, depressed communities, and far-flung areas that are not often reached by basic government services.

The outreach program was held at Sitio Datal Ngisi, Kablon, Tupi, South Cotabato, through the collective efforts of various government offices and partners, namely:
• Provincial Government of South Cotabato headed by Governor Reynaldo Jr Tamayo
• Municipal Government of Tupi led by Hon. Romero S. Tamayo, Municipal Mayor
• Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) doctors and staff
SCPH Family and Community Medicine Traditional Training Program
Dr. Kean Magsipoc and Dra. Ayra Depita
• Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) headed by Sir Emil Sumagaysay
• Tupi Municipal Police Station
• 38th Infantry We Clear Battalion

The Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) conducted Chest X-ray and HIV/AIDS Testing at Barangay Kablon.

Aim:
To strengthen early detection, prevention, and management of tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS within the community.

Purpose:
• To provide accessible and free health services to residents.
• To raise awareness on the importance of regular health screening.
• To ensure timely referral and treatment for those who may test positive.
• To promote a healthier and safer community.

September 01,2025[5th Romeo S. Tamayo First Aid and Fire Safety Techniques Competition held at the Municipal Covered Court, Tupi, South Cotabato, as part of the municipality’s 72nd Foundation Anniversary and 6th Agten Tufi Festival.

The event was spearheaded by the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (LDRRMO) in partnership with the Tupi Fire Station. The competition aimed to promote disaster preparedness, teamwork, and quick response skills among barangays in Tupi.

Today at Sitio Glandang, Barangay Kablon, we successfully conducted Purokalusugan for the community.

Services Provided:
• Prenatal Check-up
• Family Planning
• Immunization
• Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Services
• Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) on:
• Smoking
• Cancer Awareness
• Road Safety
• Proper Handwashing
• Waste Segregation
• Dengue Awareness and Prevention
