Good day! My name is Francisco dela Cruz, a senior citizen, I have Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 5 (CKD-5) Secondary to Diabetic kidney disease, Hypertension stage 2, Type 2 Diabetic mellitus. Over the time due to the side effects of strong medication/medicine for my hypertension & diabetes maintenence, it damages my kidney, has gotten worse causing my kidneys not to work well enough to keep me alive. This is what i am facing now, and my treatment options are limited to dialysis treatments or a kidney transplant.
Kidney transplant would offer me more freedom and the ability to live a longer, healthier, more normal life.
However, finding a kidney for a transplant is not easy. Just ask the 100,000+ people on the waiting list for a deceased donor kidney, and time may be not on our side, I might die for waiting on the list. Or another option: receiving a kidney from a living donor. Its difficult for me to ask a family, relatives or friends to donate there kidney for me. And the hospital bills for the kidney transplant surgery is very costly, as well as the after care treatment procedures and check up. Unfortunately I can't afford kidney transpant. That is why Dialysis is the urgent solution to help prolong my life.
However, I know living donation may not be right for everyone- my daughter is a small time online seller and her earnings can not sustaine the support for the entire dialysis sessions because it is lifetime. That is why am asking for your kindness and sympathy. Any amount of donation is like you extending my life (to undergo dialysis sessions). I really appreciate and truly grateful for your help.
