NO EXAMS, RESUMPTION OF CLASSES ON MARCH 16, 17
PUBLIC ADVISORY: This is to inform the public that pursuant to the Memorandum issued by the Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, the Municipal Government of Santo Tomas headed by Mayor Ernesto Evangelista hereby amends item no. 10 contained in COVID-19 PREVENTIVE MEASURES GUIDELINES NO. 2 on the SUSPENSION OF CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS BOTH IN PRIVATE AND PUBLIC EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS in the municipality of Santo. Tomas.
We would like to inform our school administrators, principals, teachers and non-teaching personnel, DepEd Supervisors, among others, that the class suspension imposed by virtue of Executive Order 07 series of 2020 will remain in effect until April 14, 2020.
This means that there would be NO EXAMS and RESUMPTION OF CLASSES that will push through come March 16 and 17, (Monday and Tuesday) following the directive from the Executive Secretary, ordering all LGUs that classes and school activities in all levels shall continue to be suspended until April 14, 2020.
Our Department of Education in Davao del Norte is left now with the discretion to provide adequate arrangements to allow the students to continue fulfilling their requirements during the period.
Based on the memorandum, the Santo Tomas LGU shall be responsible for implementing measures to ensure that students remain in their homes during the class suspension.
We implore everyone’s understanding and cooperation in this extraordinary times.

Ang Departamento sa Edukasyon sa Davao del Norte gihatagan ug otoridad nga mopahigayon ug sakto panagsabot aron sa paghatag sa mga studyante igong panahon sa paghoman sa ilang mga bulahaton kabahin sa pag eskwela.
Base sa Memorandum, ang Lokal bga gobyerno sa Santo Tomas maoy responsable sa pag implementar sa mga balaod ug pamaagi arob masiguro nga ang mga stududynte magpabilin sa ila g tagsa tagsa ka panimalay ug luwas sa panahon sa pagsuspende sa klase.
