Marami sa atin may problema pagdating sa pride and greed, dahil hindi natin namamalayan na meron na pala tayong ganitong pag-uugali.

Infact , the Bible goes so far as to warn us that God hates the sin of pride and will discipline the proud!

Mababasa naten sa James 4:6...“God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”

Ayaw ng Diyos ang mga taong hambog, kaya mag ingat tayo dahil pwede naten ikasira ito.

Sa Proverbs 16:18 ito ang mababasa naten ,

“Pride comes before destruction, and an arrogant spirit before a fall.”

Ito naman sa Proverbs 27:2

“Don't brag about yourself--let others praise you."

Ito pa ang sinabi ni King David sa Psalm 10:4,

"In his pride the wicked man does not seek God; in all his thoughts there is no room for God."

At ang sabi ng Panginoong Hesus sa,
Mateo 23:12

“Ang sinumang magtataas ng kaniyang sarili ay ibababa at ang sinumang magpapakumbaba sa kaniyang sarili ay itataas.”

Kaya mag ingat tayo palagi sa maling pride o sa pagiging mapag mataas dahil tayo ay ibababa ng Diyos.

Pero nalulugod ang Diyos sa mga taong mapagkumbaba, at ito ay kanyang itataas.

Ito pa ang mababasa naten sa Scriptures about humility.

“Pride leads to disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom." -Proverbs 11:2

Psalm 25:9
“ He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.

Psalm 149:4
“The LORD is pleased with his people, and he gives victory to those who are humble.

Proverbs 18:12
“Pride leads to destruction; humility leads to honor.”

Proverbs 22:4
“The reward for humility and fear of the LORD is riches and honor and life.”

Ito naman ang paalala ni Apostol Pablo sa Philippians 2:3-4

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”

Kaya dapat maging mapagkumbaba at matulungin, iwasan natin ang pagiging makasarili at mahangin.

Just want to share my testimony about Lyphoma o mas kilala sa tawag na Kulani na madalas binabalewala ng karamihan.
Kamakailan lang namatay si Cezar Apolinaryo (GMA 7 News Caster) dahil sa sakit na Lymphoma. Natakot ako kasi kung hindi pala na agapan possible same na kami ng nangyari ni Cesar.
