August is Sight Saving Month 👁👁

Please devote time for your eyes. Consult your friendly ophthalmologists. 😃

In order to screen and reach more people, we need to empower our local health and community workers. You can help us do this through the local chapters societies. We have the Pao Northeastern Luzon for Region 2, Kalinga, and Apayao. EYEcandoit. We can do it. 🙏

"Thank God! Praise God", ang binibigkas habang tumutulo ang luha sa pisngi ng asawa ni Tatay N. Matagal na inantay na magkaroon ng Cornea na magagamit para mabigyan ng paningin ang asawa niya.

Ang kaliwa ay artificial eye, sapagkat natanggal na ang mata nito noong bata pa. Ang kanang mata na lamang ang pag-asa para makakita, at ito ay pumuti dahil sa peklat. Maraming taon na hinde makagalaw mag-isa dahil sa pagkabulag, pero kanina, ay nakakalakad na ng walang tulong. Natupad na sa wakas ang matagal nang ipinagdadasal nila (namin).

Salamat sa Eye Bank Foundation at sa donor (namayapang nakunan ng cornea) at pamilya niya na nagbigay ng bagong paningin, pag-asa at saya kay Tatay N! 🙏

Maraming pasyente pa ang kelangan ng operasyon na Corneal Transplant para mabigyan ng masmalinaw na paningin. We need more donors.

In the Cagayan Valley Region, we have retrieval centers for those who would like to donate or pledge: CVMC Ophthalmology Department and the Simc Ophthalmology.

Be a hero in someone's eyes. Be a cornea or eye donor.
