INTRODUCING | The Newly Elected SHARED Officers!✨

We proudly present the new set of officers of SHARED (School Health Awareness Response for Emergency and Disaster) from Atimonan National Comprehensive High School – Senior High School Department.

These student leaders are entrusted with the responsibility of promoting health awareness and preparedness in times of emergencies and disasters within the school community.

Introduction to DRRM, Basic Life Support and Standard First-Aid symposium held at ANCHS– SHS this 21st of February 2025 along with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO).

Sir Raniel Joseph P. Billanes, EMT-B, MDRM, MDRRMO operations and warnings section head also discussed the four pillars of DRRM and shared his expertise about the importance of every DRRM offices to our community, as well as tackling the salient features of RA 10121.

With the helpful assistance given by Sir John Phillip V. Lasheras, MDRRMO staff at the operations and warnings section, the discussion about basic life support and standard first-aid was successfully presented alongside with the demonstration done by the MDRRMO certified volunteers.

The knowledge about the rescue breathing, cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, bandaging, and lifting and moving was greatly delivered through the valid information provided by our guest speaker.

SHARED advisers, officers, and core members gratefully appreciated their presence and teachings, as well as towards the participation of the students from 12th grade of STEM and GAS which would help them understand the importance of the subject Disaster Readiness and Risk Reduction (DRRR).

As participation of the ANCHS-SHS Buhangin Campus to the 4th Quarter NSED, the alarm was pulled at exactly 9:00 in the morning witnessing the students' awareness on what to do during an earthquake drill, November 9, 2023.

SHARED officers and members helped in assisting the students as they go ahead the safe zone.

"Their awareness is in line with preparedness, that's why earthquake drill is being conducted quarterly every year, nationwide, to remind everyone what to do in case a real natural disaster occurs", stated by SHARED.

Proper patient handling during an asthma attack was discussed and led by Ma'am Myra J. Diaz, one of the organizations' adviser. Treatment and first-aid application experiences was also tackled during the assembly.

To our volunteer medics and officers under the School Health Awareness Response for Emergency and Disaster (SHARED) organization, congratulations for receiving a Certificate of Appreciation given by MDRRMO Atimonan for the participation in the 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) held last September 27, 2023.
